The Cedarwood Codeathon - 2020
17th, 18th October | Grades 1 to 5
24th, 25th October | Grades 6 to 12

on Zoom, Breakout Rooms

What is a Coding Hackathon?
Coding marathon where programmers solve a given problem
Learn the techniques of Design Thinking and Problem Solving
Tailored for young learners, with exciting themes and ideating sessions
Great way for our budding coders to put their knowledge to test

The event starts off with an enkindling workshop that promotes design thinking and problem solving. This is followed by discussion of ideas - here the students will work as a team or with the mentor to decide how they’ll execute their project. On day 2, the participants will have an hour and a half to carry out the actual coding, followed by a presentation of the final project. This grand two day event will end with a valedictorian session where we will announce the winners of the hackathon.
